PSD & PSB File Viewer 1.1.2.8 Release Notes

PSD & PSB File Viewer version 1.1.2.8 is now available for Android. This release introduces an option to inspect text content and font details directly from text layers. Following our 1.1.2.7 release notes, this update makes it easier to review typography details on mobile devices.

View Text and Fonts in Text Layers

You can now check the wording, font name, font size, and text color stored in a text layer. You can also copy the layer text to your clipboard if you need to paste it into messages, notes, or project documents.

To inspect a text layer:

1. Open your PSD file in PSD & PSB File Viewer and open the layer list.
2. Long-press a text layer in the list.
3. Choose View text & fonts.

A panel will display the text content along with font attributes such as font name, size, and color. You can copy the text directly from this screen.

This feature applies to text layers that contain live text blocks. If a layer is rasterized or stored inside a smart object, PSD & PSB File Viewer displays a notice that no text layer information is available. This tool is intended for viewing and copying text; it does not provide font files, install fonts on your device, or allow text editing.

Minor Bug Fixes

This release also includes minor bug fixes.

Free and Plus

Viewing text and font information is available as a free feature. Layer list viewing is free in PSD & PSB File Viewer, so you can inspect text properties and copy text.
